Project Description

Sifting through choices
and finding the best match

The containerized shipping industry continues to change over time, both in a decreasing number of carrier choices and ever-widening alliances. RS Express listens for our clients’ specific lanes, desired transit times, sailing frequencies and specialized equipment needs to deliver a short-list of viable options to choose from.

(Full-Container Load)

The most cost effective option, RS Express offers FCL movement in standard dry van container sizes and specialized equipment such as flat-racks, open topics and temperature or atmospheric-control. Whether you need a 20′ and tri-axle for heavy, dense tile or an atmospheric-controlled container to slow or prevent cargo’s aging or product maturation we have an FCL plan to fit your cargo.

LCL (Less-than-container load)

Not every shipment needs its own container and sometimes they’re in short supply. When you don’t want to pay for space you don’t need or need assurances your cargo will move as booked, RS Express offers LCL options to destinations around the world. Whether a standard LCL consolidation with other cargo or a buyer’s consolidation bringing together multiple suppliers, we can save you time and money while keeping your supply chain and inventory stable.

N.V.O.C.C. (Non-Vessel-operating Common Carrier)

Holding a Federal Maritime Commission license as an Ocean Transportation Intermediary, RS Express is capable of booking cargo directly on our customers’ contracts or we have entered into contracts of our own with select carriers to deliver an end-to-end logistics solution from origin to destination. Our NVOCC is capable of shipping cargo to and from the United States and is authorized for use in China.

OTI / NVOCC License No. 003204

Finding capacity in a pandemic-stricken air cargo global marketplace.

Early in 2020, the grounding of passenger planes meant an evaporation of belly space worldwide. Passenger airlines converted aircraft to “phreighters” to meet the demand first for worldwide airlift of PPE and medical equipment, then consumer and e-commerce goods and then vaccines.

RS Express works with airlines and their evolving flight schedules to find and secure space for cargo based on transit time, airports and capability of ground handling facilities which may be required to maintain certain temperatures or sanitation levels during transport.

Expedited, standard, and deferred shipping options

Global visibility anywhere in the world

A dedicated network of worldwide partners

Connecting gateways around the world, international air cargo is the fastest, safest way to move cargo from one place to another. Whether you’re moving bonded cargo through the US to a gateway on another continent or the journey starts at your warehouse, our air cargo options are specifically suited to meet your timing, destination and pricing needs.

The importance of domestic air freight cannot be understated for shippers. Whether regular commodities like perishable foods, medical supplies, and semiconductors, some products just need to move by air. Domestic air freight is the lifeblood of eCommerce shipping as small packages are moving around the nation in a flurry. Coupled with their increasing role in trying to accelerate the final mile of interminably delayed ocean shipments trapped upstream in supply chains, the role of and demand for domestic air shipment service continues to increase. Plan ahead with RS Express and be ready to send your cargo faster and more efficiently by domestic air.

Every week we hear about another container collapse or pallet fire due to batteries. While the news swells when the story is fresh, few follow along to learn the real and actual costs involved with a cargo insurance claim. For RS Express, the protection of our client’s cargo and the proper declaration and insurance thereof are what saves us in event of an emergency. You can rest easy knowing our insurance offerings have you covered.
